Opportunity for black high school students.

Tyner Academy Mock Trial Team Coach – 2019 and 2020. In 2018, Marc met with the Principal of Tyner to secure the participation of the school, which is predominately minority attended, to be the first all black mock trial team in the history of Hamilton County. Marc assembled a team of three incredible attorneys (Brent Burks, Lee Davis, and Jamey Hurst) to help him coach the team to a successful result. Despite many disadvantages, the team came within a point of winning the second night of competition in 2018. Mock trial educates students about our civil and criminal justice system, fosters critical thinking and strategy skills, and develops public speaking skills.
